land stewardship is a sacred relationship
honoring the land
Spiritually, it means listening—to the land, to God, and to rhythms larger than ourselves. Personally, the land teaches patience, restraint, and trust in slow, unseen growth. Practically, stewardship shows up in everyday choices that prioritize long-term health over short-term gain.
current efforts
native ecology + soil health
We prioritize native plantings and selective clearing to restore ecological balance, improve soil health, and allow native grasses and plants to thrive. Cedars cleared from the land are repurposed into mulch, which is then used to retain moisture, enrich the soil, and reduce erosion.
wildlife support + protection
Habitats for small animals are protected and encouraged throughout the property, alongside birdhouses, feeders, and water sources that support wildlife during dry or difficult seasons.
regeneration over extraction
Everyday land decisions, both big and small, favor regeneration over convenience. Our focus lies in strengthening the land’s resilience rather than forcing rapid change.
our vision of harmony
How we plan to deepen our efforts over time.
native planting
We plan to continue expanding native plantings to support pollinators, soil health, and long-term ecological balance.
wildlife habitats
We will continue to cultivate and protect habitats that allow wildlife to move, nest, and thrive naturally across the land.
extended trail access
Trails will be thoughtfully expanded to invite exploration and connection while preserving the integrity and balance of the ecosystem.
looking ahead
Our approach is simple: protect what is here, restore what has been compromised, and enrich the land in ways that invite connection while honoring its rhythms.
